CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
Passion Talks 2019 will be a one day event held at Google on Friday, August 23rd
Passion Talks 2019 is changing format a bit, trying something new. We will condense this year’s conference to a single day at Google open to the public with the goal of focusing our efforts providing you the very best content for discussion around the intersection of passion, faith and work. This year’s theme of Restorative Dialogue builds upon the idea that our passions connected to our faith has the capacity to be world changing and we will bring you talks and stories reflective of this truth.
We are now accepting talks for review.
This year’s conference will include speaker training in early August delivered by industry leaders with decades of experience training people in the art of public speaking and story-telling. We will open that training up to all who submit abstracts for this year’s conference but will select a subset of those abstracts to speak on August 23rd, the launch of our inaugural Passion Talks Fellows program.
Passion Talks offer speakers an opportunity to give short talks about their work, faith, passions, and dreams. Each talk is between 10-15 minutes, and will be followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.
Be sure to submit your abstract today! Deadline for submitting a talk is July 20, 2019.
This year’s conference is open to the general public.
If you’d like to attend this year’s talks, tickets are now available for Friday, August 23, 2019 at Google, CA. With the change in format, we expect tickets to go pretty quickly, so get yours today!
